I found this 83 Corvette die-cast car by Corgi. Made in Britain, copyright 1982. Thing is, they never made an 83 Corvette. When production of the C4 started they were all 84s. GM marketing must have gotten ahead of themselves. I'd like to look under the hood but I don't want to open the package.

Also scored this really cool GM licensed Cadillac gas pump, with the period correct Cadillac logo. It was made in 2005 I think.

Next up is an American Oil motor club window sticker. I think this was like AAA back in the day. Never been used.

This Hot Wheels Cadillac Cien concept is cool. It says it is part of a 50 unit collection, one for each state. This is Virginia, and the car is labeled with Norfolk Patrol. Does anybody have any of the others in this collection?

Lastly, some interesting current Hot Wheels. 81 DeLorean, 911 GT3 Rs, and a CTS-V (gen 2).

They made some 1983 corvettes. Only one survives in the corvette museum.

Yes, they were all prototypes and none were sold to the public though. All but one were destroyed. The VIN numbers were assigned as 83 model year.
